Mariott Long Wharf Wedding – Laurie + Tom

Laurie and Tom Boston Marriott Long wharf wedding

Laurie and Tom’s wedding celebration was held at the Mariott Long Wharf. The day started with Laurie’s closest friends and family getting ready together over a stunning view of the Boston Harbor. Everyone looked on lovingly as Laurie got all dolled up. Laurie’s parents were especially touched on this day and they looked at their daughter with absolute adoration. You could really feel each and every person’s anticipation for this special day.

Laurie and Tom’s ceremony was absolutely beautiful. They shared laughs, tears, and just all the emotions! They said that their relationship comes easy to them and it really showed in their vows. After their ceremony, they had a cocktail hour on the Mariott Long Wharf patio which that overlooks the Boston Harbor. What an awesome backdrop to their celebration! Everyone was snapping pictures of themselves with the gorgeous view of the Harbor.

It was soon time for their reception. Laurie’s sister gave a most touching maid of honor speech. She stated that she and Laurie both found love late in life and just when they thought that they may not find the ones, they did. She said that she’s so glad that Laurie found Tom – she just wishes he didn’t live in NJ!

Following dinner, Laurie and Tom’s friends put on the most epic Bohemian Rhapsody choreography I’ve ever seen. Seriously. Just about everyone was on the dance floor and there were some serious theatrics going on! Equally as epic of a feat, Tom’s friends of over 30 years sang Thunder Road by Bruce Springsteen together! Their reception was just fantastic all around. The room was just exploding with energy all night long!

Their guestbook was handmade by a family member. Along with a dessert bar, they also had a candy bar and popcorn. How fun! The attention to detail for Laurie and Tom’s wedding was just spectacular.
